Toshiba Qosmio X775-Q7384 Just purchased this several days ago at $1399, & NOW you go & take $100 off.
Well anyway, still a good games notebook at $1399. Took a bit of performing though. Had to downgrade the bios to 1. 10 to fix the casual choppy framerate that We experienced playing Witcher two. Also had to visit the global settings in this Nvidia control panel & set the Nvidia processor chip as my preferred processor in the global settings in order to get some of my other games running smoothly. But now everything’ s smooth as butter on max settings at 1080p (Samsung TELEVISION SET). Love the hybrid travel, speakers, & price so much of which I’ m willing to disregard the max 8gb ram, 1600×900 17" screen, & ugly design (i believe).
Not bad for $1399. Even better at $1299. (more…)

Review is From 46wx800u : i actually can’t rate this toshiba 46wx800u yet as a result of after I received the TV and opened the box up to require a look the screen was shattered – I mean spiderweb shattered. i am unable to believe it had been packaged or handled alright if it had been that broken. I hope amazon can create it right, however I had to pay money for return shipping thus i’m still reasonably fuming about it. I purchased this for a faculty and also the students were terribly excited, solely to open the box and find the styrofoam packaging within in pieces and also the screen completely destroyed. My one star is barely for the frustration of getting it arrive thus badly broken – i will update it once I truly get to undertake the TV!

toshiba 46sl417u I am thus tired of something with this tv and Toshiba! after having my panel replaced, a wide vertical band started appearing on the left hand facet of the screen, just as before. Also, I noticed the sound popping in and out on all of my HDMI inputs. This tv is GARBAGE! I have asked Toshiba to exchange the unit since I purchased a new tv, however they enforce continuing to send out techs to repair components. after replacing the LCD panel, succeeding part to be repaired is the main board. i guess we are going to see if that fixes the problem. I have had to miss work waiting on repair techs who don’t follow their scheduled appointments (hours late!) and would have rather just stayed with my Panasonic 37 inch (which the forty six inch Toshiba replaced).
