JBL CS6100BG High Performance
I’ve had these types of speakers in my home theater for above 1 1/2 many years. I have a very serious dedicated home theater room which i started building 24 months ago. Money became short and I desired to obtain the best “temporary” speaker system knowing that I will be slowly upgrading the elements. The speakers were my own last merchandise.
I started with these CS6100s through JBL after reviewing numerous sources. They possess performed THEREFORE WELL! I not too long ago purchased my own new speakers, they cost far more than these types of… and now need to get rid-of the JBLs. A handful of my friends that have heard these within my house have previously started knocking around the door! That will be how good they may be… listen to them and they’re going to easily market themselves. Especially knowing the device is properly under $1, 000.
Pros: Sound quality is extremely good, looks tend to be great, unbeatable system price, easy to install and set-up. Having 5 similar voice coordinated speakers truly helps the sound transition throughout the space smoothly. Fits moderate to little rooms very well.
Cons: Speakers tend to focus the sound in which the speaker will be aimed : minimal dispersion. I also prefer much more mid-range impact, but scaled-down speaker normally have this problem. The sub covers well with the exception of the really low. On this particular subject, I already added the monstrous SVS deep bass sub, so this particular had little impact on my system. I employed the JBL regarding mid-bass as well as the SVS for under 50hz (it goes to 12!).
My personal catch twenty two: It will be hard to be able to depart from this set-up after using these types of JBL speaker like a “temporary” speaker system for almost 24 months now. I identified it Quite difficult to sell the necessity for the harder expensive speakers (that i just purchased) to my wife… there is so little wrong with all the “temporary” JBL speakers!
